Theme example causes page to stutter

While scrolling down the theme example page on the live docs I noticed the whole page stutters and at times even flings me 500px+ up the page while scrolling down.
I'm using the latest version of Chrome on OSX Sierra and so far I haven't noticed any issues with any other sites so I'm going to assume this is a issue with the docs and not my OS or browser.
If there's anything else I can provide to help you pinpoint the issue please let me know.
