Error while loading Code

opened this issue · comments

Hi, Sorry new to this. I installed the Aeon-HEM-V2 to ST. I then came to your site and I thought I was following the instructions correctly but I keep getting an error when I create a "New SmartApp" and Select "From Code" tab and paste in your code and select *_create *_I get this error

No signature of method: script1460337917707118719504.metadata() is applicable for argument types: (script1460337917707118719504$_run_closure1) values: [script1460337917707118719504$_run_closure1@36c44ab] Possible solutions: getMetadata(), getState(), setState(java.lang.Object), metaClass(groovy.lang.Closure)

Thoughts?

Common mistake – the HEMv2 is a SMartthings Device, not a SmartApp … try creating a new device from code…

Hi @SANdood , I'm new to this and I can't follow what your answer is above. Can you please elaborate what you mean? I still am getting the same error message.

Thank you!

Nevermind...I sent this message too soon. I was able to figure it out 👍
