Soldering temperature for CP2104

infrat opened this issue · comments

Hi. I've ordered few PCBs of dEEbugger on JLCPCB, completed parts and for now, I started to solder everything together.

Unfortunately after mounting USB connector, LDO and CP2102, I can't see any new USB-Serial converters devices list in my computer (in my case I've decided to use QFN24 version of CP2102 instead, because of better availability in my country; it seems they are fully compatible with CP2014).

So it seems I've baked CP2102 using my hot-air station. And my question is how you soldered CP2104 in your case? Have you used soldering iron, or hot-air station? If you've used hot-air, what was your temperature settings?

I'm closing issue, because I've found out I've been testing CP210x without few capacitors which are required to boot up CP210x. Now it works like a charm.
