FireStage1 issue.

I have a raspberry pi zero w with P4wnP1 installed correctly. I'm using a usb zero plug backplane in order to interface with the client computer. I have the HID_backdoor payload enabled correctly. However, when I use the "FireStage1" command it runs, and I can see the client open powershell then close, then my ssh client says "P4wnP1 shell (client not connected)". If i use the "nohide" argument it connects but a few seconds after I open a shell it disconnects, seemingly without cause.

How do I get the "FireStage1" command to work without the "nohide" argument and make it so that it doesn't disconnect?
