Why does there need to be a separate docs folder?

And if there needs to be one, why is the LICENSE not in there?
@Narrev I've moved most files to docs so that there are less distractions and the main module is easier to identify. However, due to default GitHub behaviour, the LICENSE file cannot be moved from the root directory.
