Using Paper Plane in Flipped Area

Problem
When using the paper plane in a flipped area, such as the alley way behind the noose, the direction that mario travels is flipped. That is, R+Y goes left, and L+Y goes right.
Expected
Paper Plane should behave the same with respect to the camera viewpoint, no matter where mario is.
