SNMP support not working at all?

Hello everyone,
I got a small network setup with 3 Printers. If I run PRET without arguments, there are "No Printers found via SNMP broadcast"

If I check in safe Mode I get this error
Checking for SNMP support: not found (caused by <class 'TypeError'>: decodeMessageVersion..() takes 3 positional arguments but 4 were given)

I can find the printers via snmpwalk. Has anybode the same issue or a quick fix for it? Anything appreciated

Im running python3 in wsl.

Edit: I also tried it in python2
