Is the end result of this to have the metadata for review or is there a way to extract the native messages using this script?

Hi, sorry for the late response for some reason we completely missed this one.

It's not possible to extract the native messages using this script. We would recommend to look at the Ediscovery suite and maybe use the: New-ComplianceSearch.
