Scroll Marker no longer working after latest update

I just updated highlight-selected from 0.16 to 0.17 and now my Scroll Markers are no longer working. When I disable highlight-selected, restart Atom, then do a find, the scroll markers show back up. Same with linter error markings.
Never mind. It's working again after installing another package that uses the right sidebar. Don't know why that would fix it, but I'll take it!
