It simply doesn't install, not even an error it just disappears after I click Next

Hello, I suspects you have an antivirus or some program killing the installer or user rank issue.
Note that the "This is not a report about my app not working as expected" tick is here because customer support is not handled via GitHub issues for this project.
And you would probably have much faster and precise answer using the actual customer support for this as they may already know what kind of issue might block the installer on Windows 7:
