Get lit-virtualizer running in old Edge and IE11

Description
We need to finalize our browser support matrix and polyfill approach before a 1.0 release, with support for old Edge and IE11 currently assumed but subject to be dropped.
The purpose of this task is simply to get the current lit-virtualizer samples running in old Edge and IE11 so that we can evaluate performance, compare polyfills, etc.
