Attributed text question

I'm trying to achieve the formatting of text in a UILabel such that some of the string is bold and some is not. Other use cases I'm interested in are font size and font color for now.
How can I achieve this with Freestyle, or do I have to explicitly code these as NSAttributedStrings and just not use Freestyle for these cases?
