When searching on the domterm mailing list archives, I get the error:
ht://Dig error
htsearch detected an error. Please report this to the webmaster of this site by sending an e-mail to: mailman@listserver-linus.dreamhost.com The error message is:

Unable to read word database file '/dh/mailman/linus/archives/private/domterm-discuss-domterm.org/htdig/db.words.db'
Did you run htdig?

I sent an email to the email address specified but it was rejected, so I report it here.

Note sure how to fix mailing list search. Unfortunately, the mailing list hasn't seen much use: a feedback loop between lack of subscribers and lack of posting (both mostly my fault). That makes it hard to be motivated to fix the search.

Ok no worries. I was going to search the archives for anyone who managed to get DomTerm working on Linux Mint or any other Ubuntu 18.04LTS derivative, but I've managed to fix it myself now.

This great utility could have a much bigger audience if it was easier to get working particularly on a common distro like Ubuntu. At the moment, only experienced Linux users are likely to be able to get it up and running which is a shame since features like being able to click where you want to type in the shell are just what newbies would like to have.

I have shared how I got it to work in the other ticket which I've renamed:
#69
