Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe
Right now you have to set static product attribute values in the content type from the attribute field settings. So if different products want different predefined options, you have to make separate content types.
Describe the solution you'd like
Eliminate the assumption that product attribute values always come from the content field definition, add provider services.
Describe alternatives you've considered
No idea, open for suggestions.
