Automatically set updateDelay for heatmaps

The updateDelay on heatmaps could be set to a value slightly larger than the actual computation time of the heatmap (perhaps the actual time plus a small percentage). This would eliminate the calling program from having to choose a value based on the dataset size and complexity.
