Octolinker for vs code

Describe the feature
Would be really cool if this amazing browser extension could be reworked to a plugin for either/both:
- local vscode (needs to be able to link to local files)
- vscode.dev
Ctrl click and it opens the file in a new tab
What do you think? Do you wanna work on that?
If not then would you mind if someone else forked, rework this and published there?
Bonus: if the string is something like an installed npm package, link to the corresponding file (i.e in node_modules)
