App won't open any documents, crashes instead

For a while now, the app hasn't opened any documents. It used to eternally load, but recently it crashes instantly instead. I'm on version 8.0.0, Android 12, Samsung A12. It initially only happened when opening documents from a chat app (telegram/whatsapp), but now it won't open anything at all.

It seems to be working fine now.
