There is the problem
I have same issue, tried different versions but nothing helps. I think this thing needs an update

I'm planning to update my fork in the near future (few days)
Keep in mind this project was broken long before this and the dev seems to be inactive
Open "QR_Generator.py" and replace line 42 with the following:
qr_code = soup.find('img')['src']
