Hi,

Congratualtions for a great system.

But after 14 successful days, the system has suddenly stopped working and I am having trouble debugging it.

So I have two requests to help people debug this system.

  1. Please activate two spare GPIOs to light diodes to show when Up/Down commands are being sent respectively. On for 0.5 second then off.

  2. Since MQTT is required, would you please include an option to publish a (configured) MQTT message that will act as a heartbeat or watchdog for other hosts to monitor that the MQTT on the Pi is working and that the Pi has not hung. A message every 60 seconds woudl suffice.
