Is there a way to add this repo using sbt not mvn

Hm.. SBT implies a Scala project, therefore a host of other dependencies that don't have much to do with Java. Maybe the closest thing might be changing from maven to ivy (which I believe sbt uses under the hood), but that doesn't provide a lot of gains.
