Nvidia gtx 1070 crash mine kawpow

Hi,

the nbminer crash after a few minutes during mining kawpow (rvn)

The card mine correctly ethash.

Run miner as admin, and no that is not the solution that is advice lol. Solution is to fix your overclocks on your Vram. And are you using the syntax -mt for the memory tweak on Pascal cards? 1070/1080 series boosts up on most algos with the -mt syntax after the algo syntax in script file in linux or bat file in Windows. try 75 on core "150 if on linux" 600 on vram "1200-1400 on Linux" PL to 70ish%, max fans in sync mode if possible and you should get 18-22MH on kawpow. I had a half farm of 1070s and 1070tis hope this helps someone, anyone

If using -mt syntax bring it down from the 6 to 5 to 4 until it works, try that first but your overclocks are to much for the Power pull of chipset and gpu itself, according to the miner, and I have had both lower -mt fix it and fixing overclocks first and foremost the power limit needs fixed, probably to high and the cuda driver is crashing because it cannot accurately and safely compute that algo at your settings
