building package doen't include reference.d.ts and typings folder

When i'm trying to build a plugin and pack it, i saw that the reference.d.ts and the typings folder are not in the built pacakge in /dist.
When i pack the package and put it in my project i still can't find the reference file and/or the typings folder.
I need the typings to call the methods i want to use. Any idea what i'm doing wrong or what could help?
