It looks like you converted the gif pics into ascii-art graphics. However those are lower quality than the original gifs. Any chance you could download the original gifs, and re-download the HTML files (rather than the modified ones) so they actually load the gifs correctly instead of the ascii art?

By the way, I've used my own simple website dumping program that I wrote in Visual Basic 6, to dump this complete manual including images. I've put it all in a ZIP file, and am attaching it to my post here, in case you want to include this in your Github project here.

The gif files are replaced in #1 by another user. I think it is a good idea, and it is OK to read with the ascii-art graphics, since they do not lose any information.
