Hi, I try to clone your project on my Linux, but there is missing library so I can't run your program.
Here is the screenshot about missing library:

Would you like to tell me where I can get this library?

Try installing the ros-kinetic-bfl package:

sudo apt install ros-kinetic-bfl

Closing this issue after 3 days of no response.
The above package has a pdf.h:

$ dpkg -S pdf.h
ros-kinetic-bfl: /opt/ros/kinetic/include/bfl/pdf/pdf.h
