when i try to run activate-linux, that error i get from it
Your compositor may not support gtk-layer-shell.
Hyprland plugin just for this 🚀
But in all seriousness should be possible to do with whatever the protocol for panels is, pretty sure just allows you to put a layer client in any of the sides of the screen should be enough in this case
