Flag in title bar to indicate Synchronized state

My Alephnotes window is quite deep, a very tall tree.
When I drag the ANote dlg down to the OS taskbar the Synchronise state is not visible.
I am anal about saving ... Ctrl+S
REQUEST:
I use "Metapad" a text editor.
Metapad includes an ASTERISK in the title bar to indicate "not saved"
eg, *Myfile.txt ... when the file (or orphan) is not saved
eg. Myfile.txt ... when the file is saved ... the asterisk is removed
