All links open in a New Window instead of a New Tab

In the sample application when the page opens any link opens in a new window instead of a new tab.
And the new window has a readonly address bar.
Is it possible to make new links open in a new tab?
The right click context menu has "Open link in new window" and it also needs an "Open link in a new tab".
I tried using breakpoints and updating to the latest WebView2 but there's no event happening to create a tab on the existing window.
Another useful customizable setting that would be nice is to prompt where downloads save to.
Browser tabs don't seem to support dragging to swap the tab order.
If I hit the + tab button, I'd like the new tab to start blank and wait for me to enter the URL instead of going to the start page.
A password callback would be useful so a custom password manager could be used.
New windows have a readonly address bar.
The UI needs forward and back buttons.
New tabs open the start page, but I'd rather open to a blank page.
