Blender won't even open because of m_tree

Hi! I was using Blender 3.0, and decided to download Blender 3.3. When I downloaded it, it didn't open, so I redownloaded 3.0. Which suddenly didn't open too. I tried different versions like 3.2 but nothing happened. So I started searching on the internet for a solution and tried an Update for my MacBook. Didn't help. I typed in:
"/Applications/blender.app/Contents/MacOS/blender"
in the terminal, all I got was:
"Read prefs: /Users/jenny/Library/Application Support/Blender/3.3/config/userpref.blend
addon not loaded: 'modular_tree'
cause: cannot import name 'm_tree' from partially initialized module 'modular_tree' (most likely due to a circular import) (/Users/jenny/Library/Application Support/Blender/3.3/scripts/addons/modular_tree/init.py)"
so now I know the issue is the modular_tree add-on, but I simply don't know how to solve this issue, as I'm not even able to open blender and I have zero knowledge with python. If anyone here can help me, I would be so so thankful.
okay, i figured out now that if I download blender 2.8, I can at least open the program again! I now unchecked the modular tree add-on in the preferences, and will try again to download a newer version of blender, but I don't know yet if this will work.
