Feature request: Obscure password when identifying with NickServ

When I type /msg NickServ identify <password> I'd rather the message be displayed/logged as identify ****, with the password obscured. (HexChat behaves this way.)
Bonus points if you can set the keyboard in password mode right after typing /msg NickServ identify or after typing identify on a NickServ chat window, but maybe this is asking too much.
