Custom color settings revert to theme default when you click Cancel

Describe the problem
When customizing colors for a theme and hitting Save, if you go back in and change the color for any item (just to see how it looks), if you hit cancel, all colors revert to the theme defaults - even though changes were previously changed.

Just discovered that if you change to another theme then change back, the colors are as they were when you last saved so this bug is really trivial.
