Describe the solution you'd like
A clear and concise description of what you want to happen.
I don't know if there perhaps already an implementation for this but I have not found anything clear and concise about being able up to start up FHIR server container while being able to pass a directory on my local machine to the data I would like to upload to the server.
Describe alternatives you've considered
A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.
I've attempted spinnig up a container then trying to use $import to upload the data but I did not get anywhere with that. Perhaps this is possible and I am just doing it incorrectly, in that case if someone could describe how to go about it properly that would be helpful.
Acceptance Criteria

  1. GIVEN docker container
AND passing a local dir to the ndjson files
WHEN starting up the container from the command line
    AND run the container
THEN be able to access the data from the different FHIR resources
    AND close the container
AND if running the container with volume have the data still be in the db
