Bonelab extreme stutters and low performance

Hi there.

I bought Bonelab on Oculus to have both version Quest 2 and PCVR crossbuy. I thought that Revive would work with it out of the box but nop.
With the latest beta (3.0.0.57), the game boots and everything seems to work except for the really low performance. I get 7 fps in the main menu with GPU spikes all along in fpsVR and around 30 in levels with extrem stutters.

I'm running on 3080, 12600k and 32gb ram.
The games plays fine on Quest 2 with airlink. I just wanted to experiment it with the reverb G2. I don't know if you would like to have a look on it. I'd completely understand if debugging this game isn't a priority since it has a steam VR version.

In any case, thanks a lot guys for working back on Revive. That's awesome.

This is an openXR title so you shouldn't need to launch it through Revive. Set your openXR runtime to steamVR and you should be good.

Nop, it seem they made different builds for Oculus and steam VR versions. The only executable I have is "BONELAB_Oculus_Windows64.exe" and the unity data folder is also called "BONELAB_Oculus_Windows64_Data". Wich makes me think they indeed created different builds. Or it's only smoke and mirror but in any case, the Oculus version is not usable at all on Steam VR. When trying the oculus version of the game with OpenXR environment set to WMR or steam VR, I have this screen :

I have a Quest 2 and a G2 and thought that would be ok for both natively like you said but yea, no luck. I wanted to use it on Steam VR for the reverb G2 but also to be able to use Reshade (wich is available only for steam VR). But again, it's allright if you don't want to have a look on it. I'll just pass on those.

Seems , Meta doesn't understand the purpose of "Open"XR

Exactly my thought. I don't know if it's required by meta for publishing on their store or if it's the studio decision but my guess would go toward meta requirements. I'll do fine without a fix in any case.
Thanks a lot for your time and your work on Revive. Keep it up.
