Not visible picture into the email

In https://github.com/LibreBooking/app/blob/develop/config/config.dist.php#L23 I read that the 'image.upload.directory' can be a 'full or relative path'.
In spite of this in:
in https://github.com/LibreBooking/app/blob/develop/lang/en_us/ReservationCreated.tpl#L28 (en_en can be replaced with each language xx_xx)
the picture is embedded into the email looking at the path: src="{$ScriptUrl}/{$ResourceImage}"

If I choose to use a full path in 'image.upload.directory', the picture of the resource will not be shown as the search path will be something like:
http://my_librebooking_server/Web/var/data/librebooking_images/
