Least Authority being a open-source oriented organization, the code hosted in the repository, even small, should be covered by an explicit LICENSE
file to avoid falling into the "All right reserved" software by default.
From Least Authority website:
Open source tools are at the core of our products and services.

Some inputs to make a choice:
- The code in this repository will likely stay very small and not very original;
- It will mostly consists of a shell script run by a bash interpreted inside a Docker container based on Alpine and calling some well known programs from coreutils and util-linux projects (mostly
GPL
) in addition to OpenSSH (mostlyBSD
) and lftp (GPL
). Though it is my understanding that those above dependencies do not count as libraries but rather as separated programs; - Most of the actions available in the GitHub Marketplace are covered by the
MIT
license. - Most of the public repository owned by Least Authority on GitHub are also covered by the
MIT
license.
In the absence of more input, I propose to start with the MIT
license for this repository too.
