Explain vector-db-sink better

The example suggests "vector.metadata](vector.metadata.genre: "value.genre". What is "genre"?
The "vector.metadata" explaination send me to Pincode docs about querying data with metadata. Why? This is a sink. Why would I be querying data?
Why is pincone so heavily referenced in this agents docs? Is that the only one that's been tested? Where are the astra references/explainations? How does "vector.metadata" apply to Astra?
"vector.vector" - What does that even mean? The description is "The vector value".
Provide examples with all these config values to help explain what they are. Try to be agnostic to the data source type.
