Hello,

You are a hero for making this tweak. I have a 12 Pro running 14.1, with volume control and phone calls not working.

Is the file/daemon you need the result that shows in Filza here?

This tweak works at your device. Have you tried it?

By the way this tweak solves the volume sliding problem but currently does not make the phone call better.

Regarding the phone calls I thought I had read that in another comment, my bad. I can confirm volume control is not working on my device though. The only relevant tweaks I have are Banana and AirPods Case Low Battery and just tried uninstalling both with the issue persisting.

How was your device treated? For example, how was it shown in the control center? An unknown bluetooth device icon or AirPods Pro icon?

They show as AirPods in control center and the W1 pairing screen shows with all extra info. I can hear the AirPod respond when I try to use touch controls but the volume does not change.

I can confirm it is not working regardless if media is playing or not.

OK, I will try hooking on kBTAudioMsgPropertyEnableSoftwareVolume later, and hope that it could be the case.

Thank you so much for your help/contributions and the quick replies!

I use that low case battery tweak and can confirm that it works well with this tweak (14.8)

I just wanted to support this post by saying I have the same issues. Same iphone (12 pro), same firmware (14.1). While the deb installs and "supports" the firmware, it seems the issues are different when compared to other 14.x firmwares. The microphone does not work for phone calls, the audio does not work for phone calls (but does for music), and the stems do not control the volume.

I'm on 14.2 and have similar issues accept my volume control works (because the offsets for 14.1 and 14.2 are likely different). The audio works when the microphone is not in use but when it is, you can't hear anything but the audio that you should hear gets routed through the microphone. For example, if I call someone, they hear themselves but I can't hear them. If I play music while in a call I can't hear the music but they can hear it through their phone.

Actually, volume control no longer works on the latest version anymore.

I confirm that my microphone does not work on 14.4.2 when calling, and it works on the other with 14.8. The volume control works on both.
