I tried to compile the .a file according to the process, but the compilation failed. I downloaded the source code of the master branch. I showed the output and error of the compilation process. Can you tell me what the reason is? or could you upload other one? The new compiled library to Google Drive, I see it in Google Drive is 2016's, thank you very much~!

Hey! The last stable release is sox 14.4.2 which was released back in 2015 so I suppose the prebuilt library in Google Drive is okay?

I've seen ppl complaining about this error because of lacking pkg-config. Can you try running brew install pkg-config and then redo the steps again?
