Bulb HW/FW:

Device info
RGBWW
by Kauf
Firmware: 2023.5.1 (May 18 2023, 21:25:23)
Hardware: 1.90(y)

Bought this a while ago and finally added a time-based automation for it (worked!). Want to move it to a different location in the house, but it can't see the previously-configured AP from there. Did a reset (?) from the web UI so I could change the AP connection. Build-in AP came up and after a few tries, I connected with my iPhone. Changed the SSID/PW for my WiFi and saved. Bulb came back up and I can control it from HASS (brightness/on-off, color, etc). Can download diagnostics. When I click Visit, it sends me to the correct IP address (verified with LanScanner) and the bulb refuses to connect (verified with more than one browser/device) Chrome says "192.168.1.215 refused to connect." I can ping it.
Dried the 5x reboot trick to reset again. AP came telling me that the Hard-coded (?) SSID is the one I want to change away from. Changed SSID again, saved. Bulb rebooted and is again controllable but the web page is still not available.

Suggestions?

Issue almost Resolved

Read on your web page that it should be added through ESPHome. Went to ESPHome page and I see the bulb (and a Kauf plug). Clicked Visit on the ESPHome page and bingo, I'm seeing the bulb's web page.

So: After resetting the SSID to which the bulb connects, access the bulbs web page through ESPHome first and it will always be accessible. Clicking Visit on the Device Info page in HASS opens bulb page through ESPHome.

Note: The web page shows "Hard-Coded SSID" as the one initially configured and "Software-Configured SSID" as the one to which I believe it is currently connected.

However, after a firmware update I am back to using the Hard-Coded SSID which I don't want to use.

How do I change the Hard-Coded SSID?
