Fatal Panel Bug in Crystal-solving Software "Bruker_shelxtl"

KLDistance opened this issue · comments

There is a severe bug in the crystal-solving software "Bruker_shelxtl" (made by SHELX company) while I was using in the class of X-ray Crystal Analysis on 4, 19, 2018.
XPREP, XS, XM etc. menus cannot be opened in the front panel of shelxtl.exe . Once the XPREP is triggered, it replies "Invalid argument" (what that heck means...?). I can only open that by separately find the XPREP.exe in the same file and activate manually. What I say just as the following shows:

Although the DIY remedy tool is made to make up the defection, there is still much unconvenience using in that way.
Env: Win10 OS, put under C root disk ( not in the location of "program files(x86)" ). Besides, the environment variables have been properly set in advance.
