Bug description

After the maintenance update last night neither of my CustomGamePlayedWhileIdle and CustomGamePlayedWhileFarming options work on both my accounts and just show one of the games that are being idled. One of the accounts literally has the word 'uwu' and as far as I know that is not a "banned word" as some users were discussing on the Steam chat in the ASF discord. I have attempted this with both the latest stable and latest pre-release versions.

Expected behavior

It should show the CustomGamePlayedWhileIdle or CustomGamePlayedWhileFarming values saved in the configuration file or through ASF-UI.

Actual behavior

Just shows a random game from the ones being idled

Chances are the bug is only reproducible when you are also has GamesPlayedWhileIdle set up.

I noticed the same and as a workaround I empty GamesPlayedWhileIdle. After that, custom game showed up again.

Please note that ASF cannot guarantee the actual display order of Steam network, therefore this is only a suggestion that may, or may not, display properly.

There is nothing in ASF to fix or improve in regards to your problem, ASF states custom game same as it used to across all those years, if that's not working, then that's on Steam side and not ASF, unless you know something I do not and you know how to fix it in the code - in this case feel free to send a PR.

Based on my research, custom name works fine when not combined with additional appIDs, so when using CustomGamePlayedWhileIdle without GamesPlayedWhileIdle. Other combinations are not guaranteed to work.

Just wanted to leave a comment here even though this is closed since I don't really know what the heck is going on but I did a little more digging and research with the amount of appIDs I can use before it stops showing the CustomGamePlayedWhileIdle value.

On one of my Steam accounts (main) it was 4 games before it started showing the game name instead of the CustomGamePlayedWhileIdle value and on my other account (NEW MAIN) I was able to reach 27 games before the value was no longer present. I tried to experiment with the length and information in the field to see whether it could be the cause of the value not showing on the first account but that didn't yield in any interesting outcomes it stayed consistently at 4...

If anyone ever finds out what the hell happened then please let me know, I am intrigued to learn more.
