How to create custom badges

I have been looking around a bit (https://documenter.juliadocs.org/stable/man/hosting/#Documentation-Versions, https://github.com/JuliaComputing/Badges.jl, and https://shields.io/badges), but not really figured this out.

How do I create a custom badge (with some text, color, and link) like:

to add to my doc page?

I believe most people use https://shields.io/

Thanks. yes, that was one of the pages that I looked at, but couldn't really figure out how to do it with. I will look into it more and see if I can figure it out.
