I was creating a few custom shortcuts for Windows apps. After creating a shortcut for the 'Snip & Sketch' tool I went into the 'Custom Shortcut Manager'. From there I selected it and clicked 'Go to Selected Shortcut'. Boom. Crash. Repeatable.

Alright, solved it. There was a duplicate folder name in the directory. Weird way to handle this, but deleting both folders and creating the custom shortcut from scratch resolved everything. Shortcut works as expected and no more crash to desktop.
