Branding colour goes black.

Sometimes for no reason, the logo, branding and weather box colour (conf.bgTextColor) just sets itself to black. The C default is white. The Clay default is white. It has been saved in Clay, as white.
But it just bugs out and goes black.
It doesn't make any sense and it's driving me crazy.
