Blur render method is wrong on startup (opacity wrong and blur absent)

Gazzia opened this issue · comments

Context

I'm using the Blur render method on my clock, and I set the settings to :
Modulation: 145,100,100
Sigma: 5
Radius: 5

When I startup Rainmeter, my clock by default looks like this :

Although I set it up to look like this :

When I click on the JaxCore menu button to regenerate the blur, it looks fine.

Goal

When I startup Windows, the blur should be generated on the modular clock according to my user settings

Thanks !

That's one new issue.. when that happens again, can you send the rainmeter logs before regenerating the blur?

Right click anywhere on the clock -> Rainmeter -> Logs

I know the pain 😓
Here are the logs after booting windows :

And here are the logs opening the config menu at 07:14, and refreshing the clock at 07:15

For the info, I'm using two screens and the clock is on my second screen, which has a different wallpaper than the first, don't know if that helps ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Try resetting the wallpaper and setting it again.

It doesn't change anything

EDIT: I haven't tried with today's JaxCore update though

The update does not matter. This issue happens because the path of the wallpaper seems to change everytime you restart, so try renaming your image file and setting the wallpaper using the right click context menu.

I did that, but it doesn't work either.. The image file is now located in a folder on my desktop, and has only alphabetic characters, and I set it using the context menu, but the blur is still not applied to the clock on startup

Try reinstalling and see if that helps
