Certain broken images result in instant memory leak

Certain images that are somewhat broken (look without problem in mspaint but look horribly wrong in other apps) can cause easy ocr to immidiately eat up VRAM (included the shared one) that goes up to 16GB.
Like this thing:

All two examples that I found now seems to be somewhat related to low color depth images.
