Unable to start Plutus Playground Server

Summary

I've been following the plutus pioneer tutorials, and I can't seem to start the plutus playground server.

If it helps, here are some of the things I've tried:

  • Checking out a specific version of the repository
  • Successfully ran nix-build -A plutus-playground.server in the plutus-apps directory

Steps to reproduce the behavior

Go to the plutus-playground-client directory and run plutus-playground-server.

Actual Result

No such file or directory.

Expected Result

Based on what I've read from other forums, "Interpreter Ready" should be printed on the console.

Describe the approach you would take to fix this

Thanks for reporting this!

Unfortunately, we are closing this issue as the plutus playground is no longer maintained by IOG. Thus, it was deleted from the plutus-apps repository.

But you can try older revisions of the codebase to try to run it. (e.g. https://github.com/input-output-hk/plutus-apps/releases/tag/v1.0.0-alpha1)

Thanks for the response. Is there another repository where it is being maintained? If not, is there an alternative to the playground?
