chat history: delete own messages already posted in conversation

vieridipaola opened this issue · comments

Hi,

Is it possible to delete a message already posted in a chat (a bit like what you can do with Teams/Skype)?

I’m sure that is a feature of XMPP, so probably, but this isn’t implemented currently. I’m assuming it would rely on some kind of message ID.

Would there be a way to also delete a whole conversation (ie. all the messages within a "buddy box" but not the call status messages as in "You made an audio call...")?

The system sees text messages and calls as the same things. It’s the primary idea behind the project, but there is a “type” property of entries in the log, so yes, you could filter out everything except type “cdr”. This would have to be a custom function of your own making tho
