Showing which columns have a filter applied in their headers

As documented in this post
There is no built-in functionality to show in the column header when that column has a filter applied. This exists in other applications by showing things like funnel icons. This aids usability in use cases such as wanting to see the full data set by providing an indicator of where data has been filtered.
