I can't seem to get the highlight colors to work.

This is in my init.vim but it's still shown as black:

I can change the highlight to whatever I want but it only shows the black numbers.

I found the problem, I defined this before colorscheme molokai and that made the bar black. Maybe it would be nice to mention that colorscheme ... should be called before the highlight calls in README.md?
