Search for a space

Some metadata in IDR have (not only leading?) spaces in them (?)
This leads to absurd search workflows such as

1. Go to idr-testing, leave the default Key (``Choose....(optional))
2. In the Values box, type in a space and wait for results dropdown
3. Observe that you are getting many many results
4. Select the first one which indicates over 800000 images with siRNA Pool Identifier:
5. This will lead you to the results page, where the query will return no results

This might be a sub-issue of the search for single space, so adding it here.

1. Search on homepage of idr-testing with Choose ...(optional) for a&:
2. Get one result in dropdown for 48 images where Compound Source matched texas a&m university
3. click on this suggestion and be navigated to search_engine page, which gives no results, because the Value is misformatted
4. When a proper value is entered, this means texas a&m university, the search_engine page returns correct number of results
